What does an eLearning day look like?
The model Whitko Community Schools has selected would NOT be on the same day as the event. School would not be in session that day. Instead, a later date would be set as our "make-up date". Teachers will share their eLearning lessons with their class prior to the eLearning day. Students would be given 5 days to complete this lesson outside of the typical school day and turn in any work. Each building would provide a space to work after school one day within the 5 day window to make tutoring and internet accessible to all students.
- No one attends school on the make-up date.
- All work is completed and turned in during the 5 day window.
