Attached is the application for the position of Superintendent of the Whitko Community School Corporation in Indiana. We are pleased that you are interested in the position and encourage you to submit an application. Please note that the application form and other requested documents must be postmarked by midnight on March 27, 2021. When you mail the application, we would suggest you use a method that guarantees timely delivery. Please submit with your application copies of any college or graduate school transcripts and copies of any applicable professional licenses or certificates. The completed applications will be reviewed by members of the Whitko Community School Board. The board will select those applicants it wishes to interview and will invite them to come for interviews. First round interviews are tentatively scheduled for the beginning of April. A second round of interviews, if necessary, will occur in or around mid April. The board hopes to make a final decision by April 30, 2021 with employment to begin July 1, 2021.
Your inquiry and/or application will be treated with confidentiality, such that your information will not be released beyond members of the Whitko School Board and any persons you have specifically included as references on your application. However, and as noted on the application, the board staff also will conduct criminal background checks on the finalists for the position. If the board finds that it needs to discuss your application or qualifications with anyone else, the undersigned will contact you and request your permission to do so.
