Kindergarten Round Ups! |  Wednesday, April 16th (SWES)
Kindergarten registration will be taking place on Wednesday, April 16th at SWES! 

         SWES | "South Whitley Elementary will be hosting their Kindergarten Round Up on Wednesday, April 16th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Please bring birth certificates, immunization records, and your child. During this time, you will be given a tour of South Whitley Elementary school, a chance to ride one of the school buses, and be shown what South Whitley Elementary has to offer your child! You will not want to miss this." 

Whitko Baseball Team Playing at Parkview Field | Wednesday, May 7th, 2014

Show your Whitko Pride on May 7th, 2014! The Whitko Baseball Team will be hosting a game against Manchester High School at the Parkview Field, home of the Tin Caps! The first pitch will be thrown at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased at the Whitko Athletic Office or by a Whitko Baseball Player. Student Spotlight | Cole Eberly Receives Silver Medal

The Whitko Art Department recently competed in the 2014 Scholastics Art Contest in New York.  Cole Eberly received a National silver medal for his drawing entitled  "Shadow Box of Toys".  Over 255,00 entries were entered from all over the US and only 1% entries won awards.  Equally, the Fort Wayne NE where the contest was held, won the most awards of any regional in the United States.  The Whitko Art Department has won 38 National honors. Daniel Malicki is the Art Instructor at Whitko. Both Cole and Daniel are invited to the awards contest in June at Carnegie Hall, in New York. 

Student Spotlight | Whitko Middle School Academic Team

The Whitko Middle School Academic teams met for the Three Rivers Conference on March 20th, 2014 at Wawasee. The Whitko team placed second in the conference! The Social Studies team received first place, and the English team and Interdisciplinary team both placed in third. They will be competing again at Indian Springs on May 3rd against all Class 2 schools in the state. Good job, Academic Team Members! Good luck at the state meet!

Student Spotlight | Whitko Middle School Archery Team

Congratulations to the Whitko Middle School Archery team who placed 6th out of 30 teams at the Indiana NASP state tournament! They obtained the record score of 3203. Also, congratulations are in order for the Whitko High School Archery team who placed 6th out of 31 High School teams at the same event. It should be noted that senior Brittany Kieffer placed 4th out of 278 high school girls. Fantastic work archers! To keep up with the archery team, please check out their club page

Snow Make-Up Days | 
Due to recent inclement weather, Whitko School has announced that school will be in session as follows:
   -   Friday, April 18th ( Good Friday) 
   -   Friday, May 16th
   -   Thursday, May 29th 
   -   Friday, May 30th 
   -   Monday, June 2nd 
   -   Tuesday, June 3rd 
   -   Wednesday, June 4th | As of right now, last day of school. If there is further inclement weather, the additional make-up days will be added to the end of the school calendar. 
   -   Thursday, June 5th | Teacher Inservice Day (No Students)
